Insurance Claims Procedure :

Should you feel that you have a valid claim against the Body Corporate insurers, please follow this procedure:

  • Report the incident to the managing agents
  • They will sent someone to assess the validity of the claim (within 24 hours) –please ensure that reasonable access is given.
  • If the claim is valid the managing agents will contact the insurer, an assessor will be allocated and the managing agents will arrange access.
  • the managing agents will arrange for the necessary quotations and, once approved, the managing agents will co-ordinate the repair work.

All dealings will be between the managing agents (as a representative of the Body Corporate) and the insurer -  there is NO relationship between individual owners and the insurer.
